Bengal stumper Wriddhiman Saha, who has already made himself a regular part of the Indian Test team, turned 32 on Monday. Both the contemporaries and seniors of the diminutive cricketer greeted him affectionately, but it was veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh and Delhi dasher Virender Sehwag who reserved special praise for Saha.

Harbhajan went on to the extent of saying that Saha's is the best wicket-keeper in the world while Sehwag was of the opinion that the right-hander is the best choice for the wicket-keeper's spot in the Indian Test team.

Given the fact that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is still active in the shorter formats of the game and that he is still effecting superb stumpings behind the wicket, Bhajji's  assertion can be taken as a dig at MSD. The off-spinner last played for India against United Arab Emirates in Asia Cup 2016 and may be nursing a grudge against Mahi. He had earlier made light of Ravichandran Ashwin's record-breaking exploits, although the two tweakers patched up on Twitter and blamed media for the 'feud'.

Here's how other cricketing personalities wished Saha on Twitter:
