London: Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has hailed his side's 2-0 Premier League win against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday as 'one of the best days of his life' given the win sealed Sunderland's survival from relegation.

Poyet's side won their fourth consecutive game - a feat no Sunderland side has managed in the Premier League for 14 years and their latest win means that they have collected 13 of their 38 points in the last five games in an amazing swing of fortunes.

According to the Mirror, Fabio Borini completed Sunderland's survival mission by netting his ninth goal of the season, to seal victory after Jack Colback's opener, to put Sunderland safe.

Hailing the win as one of the best days of his life, a delighted Poyet said that he is going to start believing in miracles from now on, adding that the feat will go down in history, although he insisted that he does not want another season like this as he does want a 'heart attack' or 'any more grey hairs'.

Sunderland's win means Norwich are certain to go down because of the freak swing in goal difference needed to save them, even if they win and fourth bottom West Brom lose on Sunday, the report added.
