Former Indian cricketers Anil Kumble, Pravin Amre and Lalchand Rajput, along with other aspirants are all set to be interviewed for the post of the India's head coach on Tuesday.

The three-member BCCI's cricket advisory panel, comprising eminent cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, will take the interview as well as the presentation of the shortlisted 21 candidates.

However, it is unlikely whether Ravi Shastri, who was India's team director until the end of the World Twenty20, will also make a presentation.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Patil, who confirmed his application for the job, has reportedly not yet received any communication from the BCCI, ESPNcricinfo reported.

Besides them, the other in contention for the job include Vikram Rathour, Praveen Amre, Balwinder Sandhu, Venkatesh Prasad and former Bangladesh coach Stuart Law.

Earlier, the BCCI had trimmed down the list of India Head Coach applicants from 57 to 21 candidates after they met the primary criteria specified by the sport's governing body.

India's head coach post had been vacant since Shastri's contract expired at the end of the World T20 earlier this year.

After the interview and presentation, the advisory committee will forward its recommendations to the BCCI President Anurag Thakur, who is then expected to discuss the decision in the working committee meeting in Dharamsala on June 24.
