Washington: Four people have been found dead in a raging fire at a mansion owned by former American tennis player James Blake's in Tampa, Florida.

Neighbors frantically called the police when they woke up hearing explosions in their locality and saw Blake's house, which he had rented to a Tampa executive and his family, on fire.

It has been revealed that all four victims- identified as Darrin Campbell, his wife Kim and their children, Colin, 19 and Megan, 16-had been found with gunshot wounds to the head and had heavy duty fireworks wrapped around their heads, People Magazine reported.

Firefighters reportedly found a raging fire when they arrived at the mansion and the crew on entering the 5,856-square foot mansion found the family shot dead in their bedrooms, doused in fire accelerant and surrounded by commercial-grade fireworks.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Colonel Donna Lusczynski said that the fire had been intentionally set and the fireworks were found throughout the house.

The fire had continued to burn even twelve hours after the explosions.

Blake had bought the mansion for 1.5 million-dollars in 2005, but moved out more tha a year ago and rented the home to a Tampa executive and his family, the report added.
