Former Germany and Werder Bremen goalkeeper, Tim Wiese, has revealed that he has been offered a lucrative contract by WWE bosses, and is reportedly makimg his debut at a live event at Frankfurt, in the weekend.

Wiese, who has played for top German clubs like Bremen and Hoffenheim, was also third choice keeper for his country, in the  2010 World Cup, and has made six appearances for the 'Die Mannschaft' so far.

The 32 year old had to abruptly put stall on his footballing career, when he was released from Hoffenheim, thanks to poor form, and also the fact of not having a 'body suited to professional football'.

Though it is unclear as to whether Weise will actually wrestle during the event, still his role in WWE's larger scheme of things is yet to be decided.

Weise confirmed that he spent a year in moulding his body according to WWE standards, and also concluded by saying that he was looking at wrestling as a full-time career alternative.
