The manager of Formula One legend Michael Schumacher has said that a man dressed as a priest, reportedly a journalist, tried to approach the seven-time F1 champion as he lay in a coma in a critical condition after a ski accident in France.

Schumacher, who has been in a coma since Sunday after slamming his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the upmarket resort of Meribel with his son, showed a slight improvement after a second operation to remove bleeding from his brain but remained in a critical and fragile state.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm said that a person tried to approach the racing ace while he lay in a coma, dressed as a priest, adding that it is one of the several interesting incidents that happened at the hospital after Schumacher was admitted.

Kehm further said that she was told that the fake priest was actually a journalist, adding that she is 'revolted' by the fact that people are disregarding their wishes and interfering with the family's privacy and doctors' work, despite the statement issued earlier.
