Euro 2016 Group C Final Standings: Germany and Poland make knockout stages, Northern Ireland third

Germany came top with seven points ahead on goal difference of Poland, who progressed with a 1-0 win over already-eliminated Ukraine. Northern Ireland have three points. Here’s how Group C looked after all the matches.

Rank 1: Germany

Germany qualified after beating Northern Ireland and Ukraine while drawing with Poland. Both Germany and Poland had the same points but Germany scored more goals and went ahead on goal difference (since head-to-head result was a draw)

Rank 2: Poland

Poland came second after beating Ukraine and Northern Ireland and ending the match.

Rank 3: Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland came third after beating Ukraine and can still qualify for the knockout stages.

Rank 4: Ukraine

Ukraine finished bottom of the group after losing all its games.
