Chelsea within touching distance of the title

Chelsea look certain to clinch their first Premier League title in five years, when they take on London rivals Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Chelsea who have been at the top of the Premier League table since the very beginning of the season, have dropped points on 10 previous occasions and have lost only twice all season.

Their defensive style of play has been a target of criticism from the British media, but the Blues have shrugged off the "boring" tag they have earned from the media as they march towards their first Premier League title since May 2010.

The corresponding fixture last season saw Chelsea beat the Eagles with a score of 2-1. The reverse fixture earlier this season at Selhurst Park saw the Blues beat their London rivals by the same scoreline.

But Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew knows all about beating the champions elect Chelsea, as his former team Newcastle United ended the Blues' unbeaten streak earlier on in the season, when Newcastle beat Chelsea 2-1.

Palace who were in a great run of form, lost their previous two matches at home. But the Eagles will quickly look to turn their poor fortunes with a win on Sunday against Chelsea.

Manchester United have all but secured Champions League football next season

Manchester united are on the back of two straight losses, as defeats to Chelsea and Everton have brought them back in the race for a top 4 finish.

United will look to regain their incredible form that had seen them on a six match winning streak, when they take on West Browmwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The reverse fixture earlier this season saw United come from behind and steal a point from the Hawthorns, when Daley Blind scored his first goal for United in the 88th minute.

But the Red Devils need a far better performance if they have to secure Champions League football next season.

Two more victories for the Red Devils will secure Champions League football next season, and a win against West Brom on Saturday will be a huge step towards achieving that feat.

United will welcome former vice-captain Darren Fletcher back at Old Trafford, who announced his departure from Old Trafford to the Hawthorns in January and United manager Louis Van Gaal expects a warm reception for the former United stalwart from the United faithful at Old Trafford.

City travel to White Hart Lane

Manchester City regained the no.2 spot on the Premier League table after two consecutive victories against West Ham United and Aston Villa.

A victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday will secure yet another Champions League berth next season for City. But Tottenham may play spoilsport as a victory for Spurs will put them in a strong position to achieve Europa League football next season.

But City have beaten Spurs convincingly in recent times, and have scored 9 goals against the North London club in their previous two meetings.

The corresponding fixture last season saw City thump 5 goals past Tottenham in a 5-1 victory at White Hart Lane.

And the reverse fixture earlier this season at the Etihad Stadium saw the champions run rampant, scoring 4 goals past a helpless Spurs side.

Needless to say, Tottenham will look to put their poor form against City aside and emerge victorious against City.

Arsenal take on resurgent Hull City

FA Cup finalists Arsenal face familiar foes Hull City at the KC Stadium, and will look for yet another victory against the Tigers.

Hull who have been resurgent in recent weeks, have moved out of the relegation zone with two consecutive victories against Crystal Palace and Liverpool in mid week.

Hull will draw heavy inspiration from their mid-week victory over Liverpool when they look to topple in-form Arsenal in the Premier League.
