The talks between Manchester United and Real Madrid have really gathered pace now as both clubs look confident of striking a deal for David de Gea. The Spanish shot-stopper is reportedly in Madrid itself for his international duty. But he is considered to complete a deal there itself and join Los Blancos.

De Gea was left out of the side by Van Gall for all games as he showed lack of interest and focus with the Red Devils. His relationship with the Dutch manager appears to be in tatters. Manchester United have demanded a heavy price tag of £33mn for the keeper, which Madrid think is too high for De Gea, whose contract anyways ends in 10 months.

It had earlier been reported that Real Madrid were going to pay a certain sum of money for De Gea to stay at United and sign with them next summer. Real also showed interest in a swap deal including Keylor Navas. But the Costa Rican had no intentions to leave his current club. With just hours left before the transfer window closes, Real Madrid need to quickly strike a deal if they want to acquire De Gea.
