England to begin 2015 Ashes campaign against Oz with Cardiff Test

London: England will reportedly begin their bid to snatch back the Ashes urn from arch-rivals Australia in the opening game of the five-match Test series on July 8 this year at Cardiff's Swalec stadium.

England is bidding to win a fourth successive home series, having lost the last one 5-0 in Australia in 2014.

According to the BBC, the second Test will go on from 16-20 July at Lord's, the third from 29 July- August 2 at Edgbaston, the fourth from 6- 10 August at Trent Bridge and the fifth and the final Test will be held at Kia Oval from 20-24 August.

After the Ashes, England and Australia will play a Twenty20 match in Cardiff before the two sides meet in five one-day games at Ageas Bowl, Lord's, Emirates Old Trafford and Headingley.

The report mentioned that England will also play against New Zealand in 2015 at home in a two-Test, five-ODI and a Twenty20 series beginning in May this year.
