London: Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has no intentions of leaving the club this summer and has said he would be playing for the Premier League side next season as well, despite uncertainty over the club's new boss.

Adebayor just has two years remaining on his contract with Hotspur and he nearly quit the club after he got banished to the sidelines by former boss Andre Villas-Boas.

The striker got in favour again when Tim Sherwood took charge of Hotspur in December, but Adebayor's future, along with other club players, remains in doubt again following the Englishman's sacking, Metro.co.uk reported.

Adebayor said that he would be a Hotspur player, adding that at the moment he has two years left on his contract, but what would happen if he wakes up and what happened to him in the past happens again.

The Togolese said that what if the chairman called him and if the new manager talks about moving him on.

However, the striker added that at the moment he couldn't consider going anywhere.
