London: West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is disappointed with the selectors' decision to keep him out of the Test team for the last four years.

Bravo, who skippers the West Indies One-Day International side, has been complaining ahead of the home series against New Zealand, which begins in June.

"I must stress my disappointment of not playing Test cricket for the last four years. They got it wrong but there is nothing I can do about it. I just have to continue to play my game and show my hunger and desire to play Test cricket, and hopefully I will get the opportunity again," said Bravo.

West Indies and New Zealand play three Tests and two Twenty20 matches, starting with the first game June 8 at Sabina Park, Kingston.

"There is a Test series against New Zealand and my eyes are on that. I definitely want to be back, involved in Test cricket again. For those who don't know, the last Test I played was in 2010 in Sri Lanka and I was very disappointed that I was not able to make the Test squad since," said Bravo.

The Trinidadian has scored 2,200 runs in 40 Tests with three centuries and 13 half-centuries and has also taken 86 Test wickets since making his debut against England at Lord's in 2004.

"I keep asking what is it I have to do again to be selected. Obviously, they can't really give a proper answer so it always finishes off with a small laugh. Nothing really serious comes out of it," said the 30-year-old.

The Chennai Super Kings player is currently in England recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained during the Indian Premier League match.

"I have had two very good days of rehab and I am going to extend my stay an extra week and push myself a bit more. Coming from Dubai, I was in a lot of pain and I was not sure I could actually do the things I am doing now," said Bravo.
