Pakistan ace spinner Saeed Ajmal has been roped back into the national team's squad for all three formats for the forthcoming series against Bangladesh.

Ajmal, who missed the recently concluded World Cup due to an illegal bowling action, was cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on February 7, after tests cleared his remodelled bowling action.

Moreover, all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been included in all three squads despite not clearing a bowling test yet.

However, Umar Akmal was sidelined from the squad in any of the formats while opening batsmen Ahmed Shehzad was included only in the T20 side.

Pakistan cricket chief selector Haroon Rashid said that the World Cup performance was also taken into account for the squad selection, adding that the dropped players must prove themselves according to the merit devised by the PCB, the Dawn reported.

The chief selector further said that Bangladesh series would be their first assignment, adding that they are at number seven in one-day internationals and excelling in this format is their priority.
