1) India v/s South Africa- Proteas fined for slow over-rate during 1st ODI: The ICC on Monday announced that South Africa have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during Sunday's victory in the opening game of the ODI series against India in Kanpur with their skipper AB de Villiers being docked 40% of his match fees. According to a media release available on its website,"Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees imposed the fine after AB de Villiers' side was ruled to be two overs short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration.

2) I have no intention to become FIFA president, says Pele: Football legend Pele on Monday stated that he has no intention to head the sport's governing body FIFA, grappling with an unprecedented corruption scandal which has led to the suspension of its president Sepp Blatter and UEFA chief Michael Platini. "No, I don't have any intention to be president of FIFA," Pele, the only footballer to have won three World Cups, said in his first news conference during his one-week sojourn in India. 

3) EPL 2015- Hazard says Mourinho was right to drop him from Chelsea's first XI: Chelsea's Eden Hazard cannot explain why he is struggling for his club this season and said manager Jose Mourinho has been right to drop him from the starting line-up as he is in the "worst form of his life". The Belgian was the Premier League's best player last season as Chelsea cruised to the title, but paid the price for his stunning fall from grace this term when Mourinho dropped him from the starting line-up for the Champions League defeat by Porto on September 29.

4) ISL 2015: Kerala Blasters coach Peter Taylor recalls encounter with Pele three decades ago: All excited about meeting Pele after more than three decades, Kerala Blasters coach Peter Taylor today became a gushing fan as he recalled the 20 minutes he spent playing against the Brazillian legend way back in 1977. "I've actually played against him for 20 minutes. It was my proudest moment. I never got the ball (possession) from him. He was a fantastic player. It would be marvellous that he's watching the match," Taylor said in the pre-match press conference here.
