India skipper MS Dhoni has still not given up hope on Dhawal Kulkarni and Mohit Sharma's inclusion in the 2015 World Cup squad as he maintained that the duo still have a chance of breaking through at the fag end.

Sharma and Kulkarni despite featuring in the Carlton-tri-series squad have surprisingly been omitted from India's World Cup squad. Dhoni added that the inclusion of Stuart Binny was justified thanks to seam-friendly conditions in Australia and New Zealand.

He also maintained that fielding will be India's strength going into the marquee tournament and lauded recent good work by his side's fielders. India have been remarkable in recent ICC tournaments as they won the 2013 Champions Trophy in England and also finished runners-up in the previous World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.

Though Dhoni is optimistic of India's chances in the upcoming World Cup, he signed off by saying that he won't be carried away by past laurels and was looking for a good showing in Australia and New Zealand.
