Australia's three-wicket victory over England has ensured a place in the February 1 finale of the tri-series, regardless of the result in Monday's match against India at the SCG, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Australian skipper Steve Smith said that swashbuckling opener David Warner and all-rounder Shane Watson are likely to receive more time to rest their respective troublesome hamstrings in order to get fit for the upcoming World Cup.
