Australian batsman David Warner has claimed that his fiancee Candice Falzon and daughter Ivy Mae have helped put a smile back on his face ahead of the team's emotionally-charged Test series opener against India at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday.

Falzon and Mae looked on as Warner and his Australian teammates trained in preparation for Tuesday's First Test, which is set to be one of biggest matches in Australian cricket history, News.com.au reported.

Warner said that the support he's received from partner Falzon and their two-month old daughter has helped him get through the last fortnight.

The entire cricket community has had a tough time but it has especially been so for Warner, who was close friends with Hughes and was at the SCG when the batsman was hit by the bouncer, which took his life, the report added.
