The Real Madrid star didn't even need to play all the games to ensure that he was in the history books of the club football premier competition.

On Tuesday, history was made at the Parken Stadium as Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals to help Real Madrid beat Copenahagen 2-0.
The Portuguese star became the first player in the history of the Champions League to score nine goals in the group stage with his goals in the match.
Interestingly, Ronaldo who is nominated for the 2013 Ballon d'Or along with rival Lionel Messi who is out with an injury and Franck Ribery didn’t even have play every game on his way to the feat.
Having missed Real Madrid’s last group match against Galatasaray, Ronaldo was back with a bang as he scored to make it 59 goals in 96 matches in the competition having scored in each of the five games he has played this season.
Already the favourite for the FIFA Ballon d'Or Ronaldo added another vote in his favour with his awesome performance and the new historic record under his belt.
