New investigations have revealed that Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni bought 15% stake in sports marketing firm Rhiti that manages him and Chennai Super Kings, the IPL team that is captained by Dhoni and has been in the news for the IPL betting racket in the past few weeks.

According to a report in ET, Rhiti sports is founded by Arun Pandey, a close friend of the skipper and he holds 84% of the stake of the firm.

The firm also manages four other players:  Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh.

If the investigations turn out to be true, then this puts Dhoni in a conflicting position where he has a 15% share of the profits earned by Rhiti Sports from managing these four players, even as he opines or votes on them in team selection meetings as the Indian captain.

This also raises questions that is it right for Dhoni to call the shots on 3 current Indian team players.

Also, he is the captain of both the cricketing teams for which he and the other four players are a part of. Therefore there is definite conflict of interest in this position.

So far the Indian skipper has evaded all questions regarding the IPL betting racket and has only replied with a grin on all questions about the scandal.

With these new revelations, it is time for Dhoni to finally speak out on the matter.
