Even if Chelsea suffers a catastrophic collapse in the Premier League title race would not dissuade owner Roman Abramovich from offering Mourinho a new deal, with a source close to the owner revealing that they would surely keep the Portuguese manager.

The way Mourinho has improved the team over the last 18 months has made Abramovich happy and kept the Portuguese's transfer dealings inside Financial Fair Play guidelines, The Daily Express reported.
Mourinho signed a four-year deal when he returned for his second spell in the summer of 2013, but the club reportedly wants to bump up his money and extend that contract for another two years.
As well as his success on the pitch it is a reward for Mourinho's transfer policy, which has seen Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas arrive in major deals while big profits were made on the sales of players like David Luiz, Romelu Lukaku, Andre Schurrle, Kevin De Bruyne and Juan Mata.

His next task is to revive his players after PSG triumphed on away goals in a deeply disappointing 2-2 draw on Wednesday. Chelsea had twice led and the French lost star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a red card.
Gary Cahill admits that Chelsea has lost its intensity and need to find it again or their domestic hopes could die as quickly as their European dream, starting against Southampton on Sunday. The England defender said that it might be one of the reasons that they didn't kick on against PSG.
Cahill claimed that whether one wins ugly or wins playing great football is irrelevant at this stage of the season, insisting that there would now be a massive, massive push to the end of the season to get the job done in the League.
