China win big on final day of the All England Badminton Championships

It was China all the way on the final day of the All England Badminton Championships at Birmingham on Sunday with winners in the Women's doubles and Women's singles respectively.

First seed Chinese duo of Xiaoli Wang and Yang Yu beat counterparts Jin Ma and Yuanting Tang 21-17 18-21 23-21 in a close encounter that lasted an hour and 21 minutes to win the Women's doubles.

In the Men's doubles final, first seeds Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan from Indonesia beat second seed Japanese pair Hiroyuki Endo and Kenichi Hayakawa in straight sets winning 21-19 21-19 in 45 minutes

It was China again that dominated proceedings as fourth seed Shixian Wang beat first seed Xuerui Li 21-19 21-18 inside 50 minutes
