Indian hockey team made it to the final of Champions Trophy after Belgium and Great Britain played out a thrilling 3-3 draw on Thursday.

Britain, who were on five points, needed a victory to get the second spot in the round-robin league while Belgium had to win the last match by a two-goal margin. But even after having a cushion of two goals for major part of the tie, the Belgians conceded late in the fourth quarter to see their championship hopes being diminished.

Roelant Oltmans' men who were earlier defeated by the Australians, were helped by the draw as they finished second to set up a summit clash with that very team on Friday.
