London: A British visual artist has reportedly produced a handwritten portrait of Sir Alex Ferguson, which is made up from the names of every player to have played under the Scot at Manchester United during his 26-year reign.

The portrait, named 'Fergie', features the names of 218 Manchester United players who represented the club between November 1986 and May 2013, including Wayne Rooney, Peter Schmeichel, Ryan Giggs, Phil Marsh, Ben Thornley, Richard Eckersley, Luke Chadwick and Massimo Taibi.

According to Metro.co.uk, the artist, Annemarie Wright said that she was inspired to make the portrait as her father is a huge United fan for which she was brought up with the club's lore.

Wright also said that the piece took her three weeks to complete and is all in her own handwriting.
