On Sunday, triple F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel dominated the Singapore GP to win the race and extend his lead in the driver's championship to 60 over nearest rival Fernando Alonso who is second in the standings.
Vettel who started from pole position after a dramatic qualifying on Saturday at the Marina Bay circuit lead almost every lap of the race and if not for the safety car would have ended up lapping everyone on track.
This season Vettel has dominated the races so much that he has a hat-trick of wins and has won seven races so far. There have been instances of the driver being booed in the last couple of races,
Booing continued as the 26-year-old climbed the top step of the podium yet again and the booing that has been constant since Belgium, Italy and now Singapore, the three races that Vettel has won on the trot.
Former F1 champion Niki Lauda and Red Bull team principal Christian Horner both criticised the fans who are booing Vettel saying they understand nothing about the sport and that the German's performance needs to be lauded rather than booed.
With the Singapore GP win being his 33rd win, the triple World Champion has now overtaken Fernando Alonso who has 32 race wins to become the F1 driver with the most wins from among the current drivers.
The current lead and form he is in means that Sebastian Vettel already has one hand on the 2013 F1 world title with seven races to go. Other drivers will need a miracle to beat the German to this year's title.
