A Bangladeshi daily - Dhaka Tribune was left red faced on Monday when they mixed up fixing-tainted former South African batsman Alviro Petersen with star England cricketer Kevin Pietersen and the latter was not at all pleased with the incident.
Incidentally, Dhaka Tribue had published a story about Petersen the South African cricketer who recently was charged by Cricket South Africa (CSA) for fixing matches in the national Twenty20 franchise championship last season. The article was about Petersen's reaction to the accusation, where he said that he was innocent. However, the English daily printed a picture of Kevin Pietersen instead of Alviro Petersen with the heading, "Petersen: I'm not a match-fixer."

Taking note of the particular story, KP was quick to express his feelings on Twitter. "Hmmmmmm!!!! Not quite sure I'm all that happy with my image being used under this headline!!! What paper is this??????" read Pietersen's tweet.

The Bangladeshi newspaper immediately send out an apologetic tweet to the maverick batsman who is now doing a commentary stint at the ongoing Australia versus South Africa Test series.
We offer our sincerest apologies to @KP24 for using his photo incorrectly in a news.
