Twitterati were overwhelmed by India's superb show.

The script was written, Virat Kohli just had to enact it in front of a sparse crowd in Hyderabad on Thursday. And the Indian captain did just that by smashing his 16th Test century while Murali Vijay registered his ninth ton to steer India to a commanding 356 for three against Bangladesh on the opening day of a one-off Test.
Twitter tributes, which have become every normal for the Indian captain, came in thick and fast. Here are some of the interesting ones:
Everything is normal about this day. Twitter outrage, new joke trend, someone getting suspended, Kohli scoring century.. #INDvBAN #INDvsBAN

Kohli had the lowest % of dots, lowest % of runs from boundaries.... but had the highest strike rate today! #IndvsBan

Kohli now has at least one Test hundred against each of the seven teams he has played against (Aus, Ban, Eng, NZ, SA, SL, WI). #IndvBan

This is Bangladesh's first test in India. The way Indians are playing, this could turn into Bangladesh's last test in India. #IndvsBan

Must be a normal day then. @imVkohli cruises to a century.

Kohli made it look ridiculously easy...I'm reminded of his innings vs NZ in Indore. You know what's coming tomorrow!!! #IndvBan

King Kohli.

What do you say ? His consistency is difficult to match even in book cricket.#IndvBan
One way for B'desh bowlers to escape being ravaged by @imVkohli is to beg the captain to take them off. The other is to show better control
