Top Indian male shuttler Kidambi Srikanth will lead the Indian challenge at the USD 120,000 Swiss Grand Prix Gold badminton championship which gets underway here tomorrow.

World No. 5 Srikanth, who hogged the limelight last year after winning the China Super Series Premier, will take on France's Lucas Corvee in the opening round.

The 22-year-old from Andra Pradesh, who finished runners-up at the Syed Modi International championship in Lucknow in January, suffered a first round defeat to Japan's Kento Momota at All England last week.

Besides, there are other Indians such as 16th seed Anand Pawar, Ajay Jayaram and B Sai Praneeth vying for honours in the men's singles.

Dutch Open winner, Jayaram will take on fifth seed Hu Yun of Hong Kong in the opening round, while 12th seed Praneeth will lock horns with Croatia's Luka Zdenjak at the St. Jakobshalle stadium here.

In men's doubles, Indian duo of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy will meet Indonesian pair of Wahyu Nayaka Arya Pankaryanira and Ade Yusuf.
