Australian teen tennis star Nick Kyrgios has claimed that he 'doesn't know if he would ever grow up', insisting that there is 'no guarantee that he would grow up any time soon'.

Kyrgios' 2015 Australian Open run ended with a quarterfinal exit and he said that it felt like 'a weight had been lifted off his shoulders'. The 19-year-old faced pressure and expectation, and while some chose to criticise, his admirers continued to multiply, with some urging him to grow up following the Australian's antics on court, Stuff.co.nz reported.

However, Kyrgios said that he knows there are people 'who aren't going to like what they see all the time', adding that he 'reads comments every day about this guy needing to grow up', but claimed that 'it doesn't really faze him any more'. Kyrgios admitted that once upon a time it did, adding that he obviously 'wanted to please everyone', but claims that that's not possible.

He said that he 'just goes out there now and does what he does'. He claimed that his brother is 28 and he still acts his age. The Australian claimed that he is actually a 'pretty smart and intelligent guy', adding that he likes 'entertaining on the court', but insisted that he is not this 'ruthless, angry guy off the court'.

Kyrgios concluded that he is a 'good guy', but on the court he is someone who wants to make the crowds like what they see and doesn't think there's anything wrong with that.
