Rohit Sharma scored a century again. India lost again. Remind you of anyone?
Updated : Sep 30, 2017, 02:54 AM IST
Indian opener Rohit Sharma thumped a second consecutive century against Australia on Friday and helped India to set a 309-run target for the hosts in the second ODI at the Gabba in Brisbane. India opted to bat first, and Rohit smashed 11 boundaries and three sixes in a brilliant 124-run knock that helped India reach a final score of 308 for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
Vice-captain Virat Kohli scored 59 before being run out, while Ajinkya Rahane fell 11 runs short of a hundred in making 89. Opener Shikhar Dhawan scored six runs, continuing with his poor form in the series. For the hosts, James Faulkner grabbed two wickets, while Joel Paris, John Hastings and Scott Boland also chipped in with a wicket each. India are currently trailing in the five-match ODI series 0-1 following their five-wicket defeat against the hosts in the opening match in Perth.
However, none of that seems to matter because the bowling ensured that Australia would stroll to the target with extreme comfort though we must add, that Steven Smith was dismissed, which seems like an achievement now.

An appropriate use of the 'Be like Bill' meme.
India losing its way a bit have to get 315-320 on this wicket to put pressure on the Aussie batsmen. #IndvsAus

Poor Rohit.
Compared to Rohit Sharma, it looks like Ajinkya Rahane is playing slow but he is actually ticking the scorecard at run a ball. Dravid feels.

Haha. Gallows humour is nice right now.
"Ishant Sharma" is just expert in keeping long hair. Do not expect bowling fielding and batting!

Ishant Sharma's man bun isn't working out for him sadly
— Shobiya (@VibiyaS) January 15, 2016
It's a man bun, not a magic wand.
Sources has confirmed that only reason Ishant Sharma is included in the team so that he can be blamed later for the loss..
