November 29, 2013 is the day Ryan Giggs turns 40. The football star has enjoyed the highs and lows of his career at Manchester United and was part of the team that thrashed  Bayer Leverkusen 5-0 a few days ago.

Giggs has worn the Man U as the team is called lovingly by fans jersey for more time than players much talented than him. The likes of David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Cristiano Ronaldo may be part of the legends of the team but the true rock will always be Ryan Giggs in the club history.

A video has gone viral on YouTube of Ryan Giggs known at that time as Ryan Wilson. The footballer adopted his mother's maiden name as his surname for later in his career.

The 8-minute video shows a 14-year-old young boy at the Granada Schools Cup, 1988 help his team Salford win the championship. Though he didn't score a goal, in the match the young football star shows the class that defines his career even today - his superlative legwork and ability to assist goals.

With Ryan Giggs in the equation, the striker has to just wait for the midfielder to supply the ball as he in his prime dodged the best defence to help goals be scored for his side. The 40-year-old may have not scored many times but has been in the mix of goals on thousands of occasions for Manchester United as well as Wales and England.

Men much talented that Giggs have hung their football boots and quit the beautiful game, but the passion keeps the Welshman fit and raring to go.
