In the flip-flop fourth Ashes Test it took the genius of England's fast bowling ace Stuart Broad who claimed 11 wickets in the match to help the hosts seal a 3-0 series win.
After a 2-0 lead and a draw in the third Test, England had retained the Ashes as they were holders of the trophy. Their hopes of a win at home were distant after Australia had a day and a half to make 299 and Aussie openers David Warner and Chris Rogers took the visitors to a safe 90 plus without the loss of a wicket.
Michael Clarke who has become Broad's bunny of sorts was the bowler's first wicket in Australia's second innings followed by Steven Smith, Brad Haddin, Peter Siddle, Ryan Harris and Nathan Lyon.
The 27-year-old's six wickets in the second innings plus his fifer in the first innings meant he had 11 wickets in the match.
After the match, the seamer took to Twitter to share his joy with his 4, 74, 000 plus fans as he tweeted,
'What an amazing Test match win! Love these guys!' with a picture of himself with James Anderson, Tim Bresnan and Matt Prior as he held his champagne bottle and had his Man of the match medal around his neck.
In another tweet, Broad posted a photograph of a TV shot of him with Mark Nicholas during an interview,
