Australian bowler Mitchell Starc who was ruled out of the Border-Gavaskar series was involved in a hilarious incident on Friday when he sent a message to Royal Challangers Bangalore teammate Virat Kohli's fake twitter handle. Congratulating the Indian captain on the 2-1 series win, Starc mistook the Indian captain's fake twitter account for the real one.

Starc who suffered a stress fracture before the Third Test in Ranchi was immediately ruled out for the Australians and was replaced by Pat Cummins. The left-arm seamer is also set to miss the cash-rich IPL in order to make it in time for the ICC Champions Trophy scheduled to take place later during the year.

However, the loss of Starc is not only the major worry for RCB as captain Virat Kohli is also set to miss two weeks on initial action. RCB kick off their campaign on 5th April against defending Champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and will look forward to avenging defeat for last year's final loss.
