After the idea to install a giant bell at the BC Roy Club House End of the Eden Gardens and start the ritual of a former player ringing it to begin the day's play, Sourav Ganguly has got come up with another interesting concept. It is to have a talk show for 15 minutes during the lunch break of Day 1 of every Test in Kolkata from now on. And, getting the ball rolling were Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Virender Sehwag and Ganguly himself.

"It is for anecdotes like these that we hold these talk shows. This is brilliant. Everyone is candid and there's so much fun. I plan to continue with these shows in Test matches," said Ganguly, reiterating the need to engage the spectators during a Test.

Sehwag was candid when he said at the talk-show: "Sourav Ganguly made the team tick. The kind of confidence he gave the players made him special."

For Ganguly, the presence of Kumble in the dressing room left him with little to worry. "He used to say give me runs on the board, I will get you the wickets. That would have a tremendous positive effect on the team," Ganguly said. "To have Sehwag at the top and Kumble in the bowling department really helped."

Kumble reciprocated his former captain's thoughts by saying that the Fab Four (Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Ganguly) "made them the team that they were." Ganguly engaged the spectators during his playing days. He certainly knows to get them involved in his administration days.
