CSK opener Dwayne Smith was dismissed in the very first ball of the innings by KKR's Pat Cummins.

Suresh Raina was the next to fall for CSK after scoring a menial 8 runs.

Brendon McCullum provided stability to the stuttering CSK batting attack by smacking 32 runs off just 12 balls, just before being rapped on the pads by KKR's Brad Hogg.

Dwayne Bravo looked set to play the innings through for CSK, but the West Indian was outfoxed by his fellow countryman when he was bowled by KKR's Andre Russell.

Ravindra Jadeja played a cameo of an innings for CSK scoring 27 runs, but fell to Brad Hogg's wizardry. The CSK batsmen posted a total of 165 at the end of 20 overs.

Robin Uthappa remained on the crease from the start, as the KKR opener smacked an incredible 58 ball 80, to guide his team to victory.

Andre Rusell formed a dominant partnership with Robin Uthappa, as the duo chalked up a 112 run partnership for KKR. Andre scored the winning runs for KKR, with a boundary.
