Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a formidable total of 200/7. Rajasthan Royals were set for a spectacular run chase, but rain affects play.

1.

RCB opener seemed to take RR's Tim Southee in his stride, smacking two of the first three deliveries towards the boundary. The fourth ball saw Southee get the better of Gayle, as the big West Indian was caught at mid-on.

2.

AB De Villiers provided depth to the RCB batting line up, as he scored 57 runs off 45 balls and formed a decent partnership with Mandeep Singh.

3.

3/8

The partnership was broken when Mandeep Singh was caught plumb in front of the wicket by RR's Stuart Binny, as he attempted to sweep the ball.

4.

4/8

De Villiers was the next to fall for RCB as the South African was run out by RR's Deepak Hooda.

5.

5/8

Dinesh Karthik stabilised the stuttering RCB batting line up with his 18 ball 27.

6.

Dinesh Karthik fell short of the crease as he was run out by an excellent throw from Tim Southee.

7.

Sarfaraz Khan stole the show for RCB, as the 17 year old powered them to a formibale total of 200/7 with his blistering 45 runs off 21 balls.

A spectacular run chase was on the cards. But rain played spoilsport, as the match was consequently abandoned and the teams shared a point each.
