Would it be fair of Tiger Woods’s wife Elin Nordegren to demand half of his $600 million fortune as a divorce settlement?

Ever since his car crashed into a tree outside his Florida home, the skeletons have come tumbling out of the Woods's closet at alarming speed with more and more women claiming they've had affairs with the ace golfer.

Even though Tiger, in a statement on his website, said he was taking a hiatus from golf and focusing his "attention on being a better husband, father and person", the chances that he will be able to save his marriage seem slim. In a show of solidarity, even former tennis legend Boris Becker (who was similarly inclined in matters of the flesh) has said it would be very hard for Woods to save his marriage.

Recent reports suggest that Elin Nordegren is planning to divorce Tiger Woods and demand half of his $600 million fortune, apart from sole custody of their two children. Elin is supposedly unable to get over Tiger's alleged three-year relationship with one of the women, and over another link-up that reportedly took place when she was pregnant with his baby.

Would it be fair of Tiger Woods's wife to demand half of his $600 million fortune as compensation for his infidelity and the emotional stress he has put her through?

Should the fact that Elin did not technically earn the money herself (wifely support notwithstanding) be a factor in this?
