Most of the big teams have a good car. How difficult will it be for Red Bull to sustain last year’s performance?
We will have a good chance. But McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes look strong.

What is your target for the 2010 season?
My only target is to go one step better. That means the title.

Will there be added pressure as you came close to winning the title in 2010 season?
Every year is tough. Sometimes, it may look easier or in the end you might say it was easy. But you know you always have to fight to win a Grand Prix and to be consistent.

What will it be like to race against Michael Schumacher?
It will be interesting to race against Michael. But on the circuit everybody is a competitor. We have to find out how good the cars are. We have a lot of good drivers in Formula One and not just one or two!

How is the car shaping up?
I think it is nice. Obviously, the cars do not look completely different compared to last year. I think it is more an evolution from last year’s car but it looks interesting, especially under the cover! The most important thing is that it is fast.

What do you think of the ban on refuelling?
It’ll be interesting to start the race with a full-fuel load. It will be important to work with the tyres. I don’t think that it will make the sport more boring. The car will behave differently with a full tank. It’ll be more inert. It will be quite tough at the beginning of the race as the circuits are very dirty, usually quite slippery.

Who will be the contenders for drivers’ title this season?
First of all we have to find out how good the cars are. Obviously, I hope we are as strong as we were last year or even stronger. Then you have got teams like McLaren, Ferrari, which look very competitive already.

We have seen you commit some silly errors in recent past? Will you take any precautions to avoid such incidents?
I had my best season last year and was very happy with my result. But for sure I have made some mistakes. I have learnt my
lessons.
