I'm not a big fan of the World Cup, but I think football is one of the best sports because it requires a lot of stamina. Running up and down for 90 minutes requires incredible strength. Like in the case of a race driver, a footballer's mind is constantly at work. Let's not forget that it's a technical sport. These are some of the reasons I really look up to football. My school-going cousin is a footballer, and I tried playing with him. Alas, I ended up fracturing my toe.

I used to be a fan of Germany because of Michael Ballack. During the last World Cup, I was on my toes supporting Germany even though Ballack was ruled out due to injury. Now that he is not there, I am going to support Portugal because I love Cristiano Ronaldo. He's got the looks as well as the game. I believe looks and prowess go hand in hand. That's why I am fond of Maria Sharapova. She makes sure she looks beautiful on the tennis court. She is really hot. Ditto with Ronaldo.

I am also a Lionel Messi fan. I have a T-shirt with Messi's picture. I used to watch his videos on YouTube. Whenever I go to the Middle East, I see all my friends playing or talking football. This keeps me connected to the sport
