India have won by 1 run. Dhoni had taken off his right glove before the delivery was bowled. In hindsight it was great foresight. India had almost lost the game when two boundaries were hit in the last over. India did not concede a single run off the last 3 balls and took 3 wickets. Bangladesh finish on 145/9 after 20 overs, and it has to be said that they threw away the match in the end with some brainless shot-making. Bangladesh are now out of the tournament, and India are still in contention for the semifinal.

FOUR. Slower good length ball outside off, Rahim moves to off and scoops the ball behind Dhoni for four. It wasn't well hit, but Rahim got enough on it to send it to the boundary.

Ball 2: Shakib rushes down the track, but misses with the booming shot down the ground. The ball was pitched a little wide.

FOUR. A lucky boundary. Bouncer from Pandya, Shabbir takes his eyes off and pulls. The ball takes the top edge and flies for four behind the keeper.

FOUR. Fuller and outside off, Shabbir goes for a big slog, gets a thick edge and the ball flies to third man for four. What horrible luck for Pandya.

Mithun Ali inside edges a slower ball for one to get Tamim on strike.

FOUR. Tamim Iqbal crashes the first ball for four. He then crashes straight into Nehra while going for the perfunctory run and goes down. That was a hard collision, and not Nehra's fault.

Ball 3: Tamim pulls hard, doesn't get the timing, ball goes past mid on for two.

Ball 5: Dropped. Very hard to catch. Tamim tries to go down the ground, doesn't time well, but the ball smashes into Nehra's hand straightaway. Too quick to react for a caught and bowled.

India have finished on a below par 146/7. However, the pitch is not very conducive for batting - the ball is stopping on the batsmen and the spinners are getting a fair amount of turn. Thus, 146 may not be such a small score to defend.

OUT! Yuvraj Singh is gone. Yuvraj had set himself to scoop the ball over midwicket is seems. He gets into position far too early, and plays the stroke early. It looks awkward and embarrassing in the end as he is caught at short fine leg. Another failure for Yuvraj.

Surely this is the twilight of Yuvraj's career. He really needs a big performance.

Yuvraj Singh walks out into the middle. First ball is outside leg and he tickles it to fine leg. It should have been an easy stop for the fielder but he fumbles and nearly concedes a boundary.

Raina and Kohli are still unable to find the fence with consistency. The ball is stopping on the batsmen. Attempted big hits are going to fielders in the deep. The partnership is 36 off 32 balls so far.

Ball 4: Kohli down the track, and he then yorks himself.

Ball 5: Same delivery, same response, but this time Kohli manages to get the ball to mid on for one.

Both Raina and Kohli are failing to time the ball well. 

DROPPED. Very short, doesn't come onto the bat, and Kohli goes for a pull. He ends up hitting it back towards the bowler, who drops it.

Now Raina goes for a pull, but the bouncer was ultra slow. Raina was in position and tried to pull out of the shot too late. The ball loops up in the air uselessly but there is no one at backward square leg to take it.

Some extremely quick running and a dive from Raina prevents a run out. India's run rate is down to 6 per over. A direct hit would have resulted in a dismissal.
