Both his grandfather and father before him represented Mexico at World Cups now the lightning fast striker Chicharito, real name Javier Hernandez, is heading to Brazil for his own second finals with a great goals per game record. His father, also named Javier Hernandez, was nicknamed Chicharo (pea) because of his green eyes. So his son is known as little pea. He signed for Manchester United just before the 2010 World Cup where a curious football world saw the fast-footed goal hound score twice in four games. At United Hernandez is popular as a goal-scoring super-sub with a good attitude. Back home his goals per game ratio at Mexico is 0.6 per match and he is a great finisher with either foot, his head, close in or from distance.
