Euro 2016: Heartbreak for Croatia as late Ricardo Quaresma goal takes Portugal to quarter-finals

Croatia will be focusing on containing Cristiano Ronaldo as well as bidding to score a first ever goal against Portugal when they meet in the last 16 at Euro 2016 on Saturday, coach Ante Cacic said.

Croatia beat holders Spain to win Group D and their reward is a tough game against a Portuguese side that struggled to third place in Group F despite having three-times world player of the year Ronaldo in their ranks.

Here are the starting line-ups 

Croatia: Subasic, Srna, Vida, Corluka, Strinic, Badelj, Modric, Perisic, Rakitic, Brozovic, Mandzukic

Perisic's header hits the post and then Portugal counter attack, Ronaldo gets the ball in the box and fires a shot which is half stopped by Croatia goal-keeper Danijel Subasic but the ball falls to Ricardo Quaresma who heads it in from two yards out. That sends Portugal fans into frenzy. Croatians are distraught.
