Hockey: The men's hockey team went down to Belgium 0-3 to suffer their fifth consecutive defeat.

Discus throw: Vikas Gowda put up a spirited show to finish eighth in the field of 12.

Athletics: Male triple jumper Renjith Maheshwary failed to qualify for the finals with a 'No Mark' show.
Mayookha Johny also failed to qualify.

Kayaking: Eirik Veras Larsen of Norway has won the gold medal in the men's Kayak Single (K1) 1000m final

Canoeing: Germany's Sebastian Brendel caused an upset on Dorney Lake when he powered to victory over Hungarian favourite Attila Vajda to win the men's Olympic canoe single 1,000.

Kayaking: Hungary powered to gold in the women's kayak four 500 beating Germany to claim the Olympic title.

Race: India's Tintu Luka runs the women's 800m qualifier in and finishes 3rd to qualify for semi-finals.  

Canoeing: Hungary, which alongside Germany has dominated the flatwater disciplines at recent Games, powered to gold in the men's K2 while the women's K4 won the final race of the day to deny Germany its fifth straight Olympic title.

Boxing: India's MC Mary Kom takes on Nicola Adam's from Great Britain.

Boxing: Nicola Adams takes Rd 1 against Mary Kom 3-1.

Boxing: Rd 2 goes to Nicola Adams 2-1 against Mary Kom.Adams leads 5-3.

Boxing: Rd 3 goes to Nicola Adams 3-2 against Mary Kom. Adams leads 8-4.

Athletics: Russia's Ivan Ukhov was forced to borrow a T-shirt from a team mate to win gold in the Olympic high jump after his vest was stolen midway through the competition.

Boxing: MC Mary Kom loses her semi-final bout 11-6 to Nicola Adams as she scores 3-2 in Rd 4. The Indian boxer wins the bronze medal.

Table tennis: Germany's Timo Boll took just 17 minutes to thrash Cy Leung 3-0 in the first match, with singles bronze medallist Dimitrij Ovtcharov downing Peng Tang 4-1 in the second.

Sailing: The Australian crew of Nathan Outterridge and Iain Jensen win gold in the Olympic men’s 49er sailing class.

Equestrian: Steve Guerdat of Switzerland won Olympic gold in the individual show jumping event.

Table tennis: China beat South Korea 3-0 to win the men's team gold on the closing day of the London Games table tennis tournament and complete a second successive sweep of all Olympic titles.

Boxing: After Mary Kom won bronze, India is hoping Devendro Singh wins his bout.

Weightlifting: Japan's Hitomi Obara came from behind to win gold in the final of the lightest women's freestyle wrestling division at the London Olympics.

Boxing: Paddy Barnes takes Rd 1 against Devendro Singh 7-5.

Boxing: Barnes takes Rd 2 against Devendro Singh 10-5. The total score is 17-10.

Boxing: Devendro Singh loses the match 23-18, however he wins Rd 3 with a score of 8-6.
