Welcome to LIVE coverage of Match 29 of IPL 8 which has Royal Challengers Bangalore facing Rajasthan Royals at Bangalore.

Here is the Match Preview of the contest which will begin on 20:00 IST.

RCB are on a hot streak currently as their last two games suggest and their mauling of Delhi Daredevils only gives them enough impetus to replicate the same against RR.

RR on the other hand are out to avenge their previous defeat to RCB and will look to gain momentum tonight.

They will have to be wary of RCB's bowling arsenal given the way they dismantled DD with relative ease and have to find a way past the likes of Mitchell Starc and co.

The washed out match agains KKR will definitely help RR though as they have had time to rejig and put their plans in place.

Starc is the player to watch out for thanks to his impressive form and RR will have to negotiate his fiery pace and accuracy if they are to find their place in the sun.

Apart from Ajinkya Rahane's exploits, RR have nothing else to boast about and will undoubtedly find the going tough against in-form RCB.

So on paper RCB are clear favourites to win this game, but RR also cannot be counted out for they have the ability to spring a surprise or two!
