A terrific team effort from MI which saw them swoop CSK aside and enter the final.
It has been a dream run for MI which not too long ago was lying in the bottom of the points table after a horrendous start.
If Lasith Malinga shined for MI with a three-wicket haul, then Harbhajan Singh's twin strikes which dismissed Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni proved to be the telling blow for CSK.
Though CSK still have a chance to enter the final (provided they win Qualifier 2 against either RR or RCB), they still can take heart from Faf Du Plessis' battling 45.
So on march MI to the final at Eden on May 24 whereas CSK have another game to play for come Qualifier 2.

Welcome to LIVE coverage of Qualifier One of IPL 8 which has MI facing CSK at the Wankhede Stadium.
Here is the Match Preview of the contest which is expected to be a thriller of sorts.
Despite bouncing back in the tournament in style, MI are expected to have a huge task in hand at toppling CSK who have been runway leaders.
Big hitting Alex Hales has been roped in the MI squad and it would be interesting to see whether the 'six sixers' man will play tonight.
CSK definitely are favorites for the match despite playing in MI's fortress and MS Dhoni's side will look to domineer over the Men-in-Blue.
MI on the other hand clinically dispatched off SRH in their previous outing and Rohit Sharma's side will be very much aware that tonight's game will undoubtedly be no walk in the park.
Players to watch out for MI will be of course the likes of Rohit and Kieron Pollard, whereas for CSK Dhoni and comrade-in-arms Suresh Raina will be in focus.
Brendon mcCullum will not feature in tonight;s clash for CSK which means Dhoni's side will miss his big-hitting exploits.
