Welcome to the LIVE coverage of the India v/s UAE Pool B encounter of World Cup 2015 from Perth. The match begins at 12 noon IST. India will like to keep its clean slate after two dominating victories against arch-rival Pakistan and pre-World Cup favourite South Africa. Compared to them, UAE is a benign opponent and India is expected to prevail comfortably over its much less fancied opponent.
But there is a catch. While high-profiled clashes in this World Cup so far has turned out to be mostly one -sided affairs, minnows have surprised one and all with their spunk and grit. While there has been no major upset so far, teams like Sri Lanka and New Zealand have survived scares. UAE will like to take heart from this fact and will try to unsettle Team India. So far in this tournament, UAE have lost both their matches. While the batting has fared reasonably well, bowling looks thoroughly out of depth. It will be a long day for UAE bowlers if India wins the toss and decide to bat first.
UAE captain though is hopeful of a positive result. Speaking in a pre-match press conference, United Arab Emirates skipper Mohammad Tauqir said his side will treat the World Cup clash against the defending champions as "just another game".

"We know they are big stars, but we will take this game like the last previous two games. The intensity is going to be the same, and we'll take it like just another game. We will not be intimidated by their names or their status," Tauqir said at the pre-match media conference in Perth on Saturday.
World Cup 2015: All you need to know about players from UAE
India may make some changes to their final 11. Stuart Binny is almost a certainty, who will replace injured Mohammed Shami. It will be interesting to see if the likes of Axar Patel and Dhawal Kulkarni get a game or not. The pitch is expected to provide decent pace and bounce and is likely to give even chance to both batsman and bowlers.
