Argentina smashed Paraguay's hopes of a second consecutive Copa America final berth by thrashing them 6-1 in the semifinal on Wednesday. Following this, Twitter exploded, with #ARGPAR, #Chile2015, Di Maria and Paraguay all trending in the top 10 in India.
A disgruntled Paraguay fan cannot hide their disappointment:
Smh Paraguay what happened to you today

Now here's some real substance. How good really is Lionel Messi?

Thankfully, there aren't many tweets out there ridiculing Paraguay (may be because they aren't Brazil. Or may be there are but we can't read Spanish.)
Chile has also been spared the gloating. Home advantage or not, Chile will have a next to nothing chance if this Argentine team turns up in Santiago on Sunday morning. But for now, the Argentina fans are maintaining their silence.
Argentina have finally 'woken up', though their backline did go AWOL in the solitary goal that Paraguay scored. Some fans would wish the awakening had happened at the World Cup final against Germany last year. The best striking force in the world did not get their act together then, and were severely underperforming before this game. But now Argentina have a serious chance of toppling Chile and winning their first Copa America in 22 years.
