Footballers do score on the pitch, but they are good at scoring off the pitch well. Here is a list of hottest football wags one cannot afford to miss:

1) Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau: She is a Spanish-born Actress, TV host, Model, Designer, Fashionista and Founder of the 'Free a Girl foundation'. Wesley Sneijder and Yolanthe Cabau began their relationship in 2009. They got married on 17 July 2010 in Tuscany, Italy. Sneijder loves Yolanthe to such an extent that he even got a tattoo of her face on his body. 

2) Lena Gercke: She is a German fashion model and television host. She has been dating Real Madrid's Sami Khedira since 2011. Lena Gercke is so sexy that during UEFA Euro 2012, the German FA asked her to tone down her appearance for semi-final clash against Italy. German gossip magazine Bunte had reported that national sports chiefs feared the model has overshadowed the  wives and girlfriends of other German footballers during the tournament.

 

3) Sara Carbonero: She is a Spanish TV presenter and a sports journalist. In July 2009, Carbonero was voted "The Sexiest Reporter in the World" by FHM USA. She is also the most famous female Spanish TV sports presenter, all because of her relationship with Iker Casillas, captain of Spain and Real Madrid, and probably the best goalie in the world. Carbonero became the subject of discussion when English press reports stated that Spain’s opening match loss in the 2010 World Cup was on account of Casillas being distracted by his girlfriend. However, spain went on to win the 2010 FIFA World Cup and in the post-match interview, Casillas kissed Carbonero. 

 

4) Sam Cooke: She is an English glamour model and Page 3 girl from Manchester. She got famous for being a Page 3 girl in The Sun, and also won the newspaper's annual Page 3 Idol competition in 2006. Cooke has also appeared in the Hot Shots Calendar. It's been a while since Manchester United's chris Smaling and Sam Cooke have started dating.

5) Antonella Roccuzzo: Behind every successful man, there is a woman. Behind Lionel Messi, there is Antonella Roccuzzo. They have been engaged for three years and in 2012, the couple gave birth to their first child, Thiago Messi.

6) Edurne García Almagro: She is a Spanish pop singer, actress and TV presenter. She is dating Manchester United goal-keeper David de Gea. Goal-keepers don't score goals, but De Gea has surely scored a good one.

7) Irina Shayk: She is a Russian model known for her 2007-14 appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was also on the cover model for the 2011 issue. She has been dating footballer Cristiano Ronaldo since may 2010 and both have also featured in Nike's 'Risk Everything' commercial.

8) Shakira: She is the most famous football wag. The Colombian singer is Barcelona defender Gerard Pique's girlfriend. The couple started dating during the 2010 World Cup when they met during the filming of her super hit football anthem Waka Waka. The couple also have a baby boy, Milan, who was born in 2013.
