To get an idea about who will win an event as gargantuan as the FIFA World Cup, we can look at, say, tennis.
Till recently, Roger Federer was the undisputed king of tennis. Ditto with Spain captain Iker Casillas. Both legends were born in 1981 when Uranus and Planet 'Y' were in exaltation. And both created extraordinary records. After the Federer era, came players like Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, all born in 1986 or 1987.
In these years, Planet 'X' reached its highest exaltation point and created these world beaters. The next world champion in football would be someone born in these years only. Argentina's Lionel Messi, France's Hugo Lloris, Uruguay's Diego Godin and Belgium's Vincent Kompany are the captains born in this period. Argentina and France have extraordinarily strong squads and fabulous coaches in Alejandro Sabella and Didier Deschamps and, hence, have the biggest chances to win the World Cup.
Uruguay will miss Luis Suarez, but they are still a strong team especially if Diego Godin continues as captain. Kompany has already won a couple of Premier League crowns and that means he has diluted his karmic quota of success. However, Belgium are still in with a chance.
The Netherlands and Costa Rica are the only other teams who have some chance of winning the World Cup due to astrologically strong squads. This despite the fact that their captains weren't born in 1986 or 1987.
While Nigeria, Algeria, South Korea and Greece would make up the numbers, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Chile and Switzerland would fumble and tumble out. Hosts Brazil and heavyweights Germany have no chance at all. That's because of the weak horoscopes of captains Thiago Silva and Philipp Lahm, respectively. Brazil made a big mistake by hiring Luiz Felipe Scolari for the top job. After all, the old man had tasted glory with the Selecao in 2002.
Germany's Joachim Loew doesn't have a horoscope good enough to win an event of this magnitude. Brazil and Germany cannot win even if they reach the final of the tournament and if they face an opposing captain born in 1986 or 1987.
