Octozone: Stanislas Wawrinka may not win many grand slams

Stanislas Wawrinka missed greatness by a whisker. He will never be able to achieve the lofty standards set by the 'top four' of tennis.

Wawrinka has a wow horoscope with Uranus, Venus and 'Planet-Z' in exaltation. This fantastic placement of planets has ensured that he wins an Olympic Gold in 2008, in the doubles category partnering Roger Federer. The same planets also propelled him to a superb victory over the perennial favourite, an injured Rafael Nadal and clinch his maiden Grand Slam in the just concluded Australian Open.

The 'other' Swiss may find it difficult to win more grand slams though. Though he has three planets in exaltation, none are in the deepest exaltation points. This peculiar arrangement of planets has created a situation where he may come agonisingly close but lose out on most situations to the top ranked players. He is in danger of becoming another Juan Martin Del Potro - a one-slam wonder. At the most, he can win one more Grand Slam, the sooner he does it the better. If he doesn't do it in 2014-15, he will never be able to do it, as the tennis world will be ruled by the 1990s born players starting 2016.
