The week-long yoga camp organised by Rotary Club of Dombivli has proved beneficial for the people who attended this camp. The Nishulk Yoga Prashikshan Shibir, a camp taking care of health and well-being was organised at Shubh Mangal Karyalay in Dombivli from November 9 to 15.
Teenagers and college going pupils participated in the camp alongwith senior citizens. Even young professionals were present in large numbers at the camp. Close to 170 people benefited from the camp.
“We think that good health is the combination of good physical well-being and mental peace which is the base for a happy life. Yoga is an Indian heritage and ancient science for harmonious development of our body and mind. It helps to develop the personality of an individual physically, mentally, morally and intellectually,” said Hitesh Soni, president of the club.
Soni added, “Yoga has become the need of the hour. Stress level in everyone’s life have increased. Yoga is one way in which we can have control over mind.”
The training camp was organised under the guidance of a student of Ramdev Baba. The club organises camps twice in a year.
